for a part-time enthusiastic sales professional to join our wine room team!
Daily Responsibilities
include and are not limited to the following:
- Provides exceptional service to our
customers
- Presents wines to customers in our
wine room and at events
- Takes, prepares and serves
customers food from the wine room menu
- Acts as a brand representative at
wine education presentations and when conducting wine/food parings at
events and tastings
- Processes wine room sales
transactions and maintains accurate inventory tracking & reporting to
management to follow opening and closing procedures
- Assists with winery work such as
processing fruit, bottling, labeling, etc. on an as needed basis
The
successful candidate must have previous service experience and possess
excellent communication skills. You must also demonstrate stellar customer
service skills along with the ability to project a positive company image at
all times.
- Must have prior experience in restaurant/wine/hospitality
service or must have experience in professional sales & speaking
- Primary work shifts are weekends
from 11:30 to 5:30 with weekdays also available - ability to work weekdays
a plus! Wine room shifts are
typically five to six hours long
- Must be able to communicate via
email on a regular basis
- Must be available on major wine
holidays such as Thanksgiving & Memorial Day weekends – holiday pay
provided
- Two paid sick days provided per
calendar year
- Must be 21 or older and possess a
current OLCC service permit and food handlers permit or the ability to
obtain them
- Ability to lift heavy wine cases
(50- 70 lbs) on a repeated basis is required
- Must be able to stand for long
hours
